It keeps the family connected. Sharing each others lives, each others thoughts, feelings, emotions and who we are help create a bond that cannot easily be broken. You show an interest in what is going on in their lives and it is the opportunity to talk about any problems, feelings etc. Internet is fastest because you can send an instant message. you can obtain instant information too.

Internet isn't always the fastest means of communications! Not by far! That some claim so is they have found that less interaction is better for them. They hide behind a computer screen and don't have to feel or think much. It's sad our society has leaned towards this behavior.



As for dialog keeping family together. Sharing each others lives, each others thoughts, feelings, emotions and who we are help create a bond that cannot easily be broken. Touch, smell, sight is just as important during family time. Our noses do far more work than we give them credit for. We can often recognize our family members by scent alone, not by sniffing, but on some primordial level.



It's a sharing of all we are with another human being that causes a basis to bond.

as humans we all have the desire to learn at all times,,,so if in a family setting if the family is using a ghetto--slang--curses--foul language-- then that is the extent of learning and once family has learned all this there is nothing to gain here,,, so they may look else-where to learn a new or different dialog of/to life,,,also dialog can be physical too.
