or just 1-2 times in the beginning and what if wrote "Thanks!" with the name of the owner written at the bottome of every bill? or would this seem insincere and phoney after 1 time?

please explain reasons if can..what if dont write anything other than amount owed? how would feel then?

any suggestions appreciated

I do love your picture, Dicentra Spectabilis is a wonderful flower, I have 2 in my back garden, I'm hooked.

However, I don't think it would seem insincere if the gardeners are nice and polite - the one who does many of the older people's lawns in my area is a lovely man and I would totally believe him if it said "Thanks".

Even if it's printed, it still means the same - manners mean a lot to many.

Good luck with your company.

If this is the biggest problem in your life, then either you should think yourself lucky, or you have a very boring life.

There's nothing wrong with it. Maybe you would prefer someone with a PhD in English to mow your lawn. These days, he might be cheaper!

there is no need to say "thanks" too much, it will sound as though you are desperate for business. A bill should be quite formal, it could include, "thankyou for your custom", just once. It is a professional relationship, your role is to do the work, their role is to pay. they are customers, not friends doing you a favour.

Your intentions are noble. I give my thanks when I noticed they do something extra to my lawn without me asking. Over wise, at the end of the year, I will slip a thank you card.

Rather than repeating the word thanks. try something different like "Your business is appreciated" or "We value your business" or "We hope you are happy with our service" or just plain "Thanks again"
