My neighbors have a drummer in their house and every day around the same time they "practice". It sounds TERRIBLE and it's incredibly loud. I will be INSIDE my own house, with all windows and doors shut tight with my tv on and I can still hear the wretched noise they make from every room in my home. It's not super late at night so I can't call the police on them, but our household has things that have to be done too and we can't do them with that noise. I refuse to work around someone else's schedule, that's absolutely stupid. It's ridiculous that our neighbors are so incredibly loud, how can we make them stop??

Please don't suggest anything like moving because we can't afford that and quite frankly it isn't right that we should have to move because of someone else's selfishness.

The problem here is that they have the right to play the drums.

Sure, it is loud and I get that, I do. However, you cannot make them stop without causing a feud, which, believe me, you do not want to do.

I have neighbors from hell. There is not enough paint on the letters of my keyboard to type what has happened to our family at the hands of our neighbors.

I know about unwanted noise, all too well, I am afraid to say. But, we have no choice but to live with it. So, we have found that if we play our own music, in a room closest to the neighbor's house, not even on a high volume, it does drown out the sound of their noise. Try that.

People who have zero regard for how their actions effect others are classless anti social misfits and unfortunately, with that affliction, they have no reasoning skills, whatsoever.

Have you tried asking nicely? And there's always playing better music louder.

Most councils have a noise nuisance department, ring the council and ask for help, they should not drum all day!

At what time of day would you rather have them practice?

Have you spoken to them about? You should talk to them about setting regular hours for practice.
