I'm writing a thank you card for my son's classmates and teachers. He has about 12 classmates and 5 teachers. How can I address the card without sounding too formal? (i.e. Dear Staff and Students)

"Dear Staff and Students" sounds good or "Dear All" or avoid addressing it at all and just start "Thank you all" or something to that affect.

On the envelope - to the Teachers and Students in Room XXX.
On the card - Dear Teachers and Classmates or To Everyone in Room XXX

"Dear 5th Grade Staff and Students," you need to specify which class it is that you're addressing, just in case it goes onto a public noticeboard.

I would say write all their names. They would love to see their names on it.
