Question:
Who else thinks we should boycott Yahoo because of annoying "hover ads"?

Yahoo has been my home page where I would open the browser and get latest news. Recently Yahoo started employing so-called "hover ads" based on DHTML. They are sorta like pop-up ads, only integrated into the same window and thus are impossible to block. They block what I'm reading, and make me click on wrong things (because they appear out of nowhere).

It's not like Yahoo is the only (or best, or most informative) news website out there. I'm finding something else. If Yahoo ever stops treating us like sheep, I'll start using it again. Shouldn't you?

An Atheist who has desperate that perfect spelling is the opiate of the loads. try yet another function for checking the spelling, via fact you will in all threat no longer get the function to believe you, in spite of your non secular determination must be!

I know, they're really annoying. However, if they didn't have them then they wouldn't make any profit from Y! Answers, so there'd be no point in them providing this site. That's the deal, you get to use the site for free in return for getting bombarded with adverts that they get paid to host.

Block them, you can adjust the security level to have them all blocked.
