What time of morning do you think its too early to call someone.I hate on the weekends when someone calls at 8 am and then says oh Im sorry to wake you then unstead of letting you go back to bed rattles on about their problems.I want to call them a liar its like you are not sorry or you would have shut up and let me go back to bed.Do people think everyone goes to bed at the same time and wakes up at the same time as them?

if you dont know the person's habits then better dont call them at any time during the weekends, because maybe at twelve o'clock when you are having lunch that person is taking a nap, during weekdays, I think between 8:00 and 5:00 should be fine.

Personally I dont like to answer the phone after I get home from work, or early in the morning durin the weekends

In the business world, calling at 5 or 6 am is not unusual, one can especially pull this off if this person is a person friend after years of business contact. Calling laymen, traditionally when I was younger anything before 10 am atleast was considered rude, unless we had made plans days in advance. But once they're out of their parents house and you're good friends with them, anytime isn't rude, just inconvenient. But you can do that because you're friends that way.

It depends on who you are calling and why. I can call my parents and my in laws very early, since they are all up at the crack of dawn. But friends and such I usually wait until 9 or 10 in the morning. I usually turn my phone's ringer off when I go to bed and turn it on when I get up, except for my cell phone which is for emergencies. So as for your friends who call too early, tell them to stop. If they don't listen, either stop answering the phone or turn of the ringer.

And yes, some people think that once they are up, the whole world should be up too!

I think it is generally agreed that 9 a.m. is the earliest you should call anyone unless you know for a fact that they are up earlier and not entrenched in trying to get ready for the day. While we're at it, I don't think you should call anyone after 9 p.m. either.

I like living by the 10-to-10 rule myself. Don't call me before 10am, and never after 10pm, unless we have plans. Just don't answer the phone. Ringer off, problem solved.

I personally leave my morning personal calls till a little after 10am unless I've been told different. One could always ask what time your friends would like you to call. That way you'd be sure.

Depends what day it is, if the person works nights, and how well you know the person. If you don't want to recieve calls turn off your mobile phone or at least set it to selective ringing.

I probably can't answer this question accurately, since I get up at 6 every day......

Just suggest times they can call, like, 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.

I never call anyone before 9 am at my job. Mostly because I don't like getting calls before 9 am.

Then SHUT YOUR RINGER OFF. If you dont like early calls shut your phone's ringer off or unplug the phone next to you. Then they can call but will only get your answering machine. problem solved.

Conventional wisdom is that 9 AM is the earliest you should call people unless you have something else previously arranged.

Monday to Friday .. after 9.00am and not after 8.30pm. Weekends not before 10.00am. Hope this helps.
