Which do you dislike most: a bore or a boor?

A boar. They are much more dangerous.

A bore just wears out your brain with incessant talking about nothing of interest or just does not keep up a conversation at all. Of course then there is the bore that goes with a drill that is a another thing. A boor could be good eating because they are of the pig family. Or is that a boar. Going to my trusty search engine and looking for a dictionary I find that Merriam-Websters dictionary defines boor as a boring person. While a bore is not even a noun it is a verb that is part of the conjugation of to bear as to bear arms. So I have learned to be careful of my word usage. As for which is worst I guess that would depend on want to avoid doing something or being something.

A boor because they are rude and also bigoted. A bore is fairly harmless and may be avoided.
