I was in the school bathroom with my friend and we started throwing handfulls of water at eachother. The floor got wet & we had 2 go to the principal. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal, but I don't want to tell my mom or dad about it- they'll probably kill me. But my teacher or the principal might tell them if I don't!! PLEASE HELP!! I've NEVER gone to the principal's office before, and I don't know what to do!!

Just tell your parents before the school does. Just be simple and to the point. "Mom/Dad I have to let you know that I got in a bit of trouble at school today. Michelle and I were playing around in the girls bathroom and got sent to the Principal's office. I know it was dumb and I'm sorry, it won't happen again" They will probably be happy that you came to them first. It isn't that much of a big deal and you learned your lesson (right?). It's always better that they hear from you before anyone else. Honesty is important.

Tell your parents the truth. It may not have seemed like a big deal to you, but if someone had come into the restroom while you and your friend were having your little water fight and had slipped and hurt themselves, that person would be able to sue the school. Not to mention what you and your friend were doing could be considered destruction and/ or misuse of school property. To be perfectly honest, I'm surprised you didn't at least get detention for something that immature and disrespectful. If I were the principal, I'd have already called both of your parents by now and you'd probably at least get in-school suspension.

Haha. Its part and parcel of life. Even the noblest of people do have been involved in pranks during their childhood days. That's why the term "children" come about.

Your parents might scold you for this act, and you should feel remorse on your part. However, don't despise them. You will learn in your teenage years or perhaps young adult phase that these small acts of discipline will make you a much better person.

Bear my words. You might not understand now, but you will in due time. Face the music bravely. You are a courageous girl!

whatever is this world coming to,firstly its no big deal, tell your parents, you havent been unruly you just did what kids do and messed about chucking water at each other, not really a reason to be sent to the principal and surely not enough reason for them to phone or write to your parents.a simple prank that should of had no more punishment than you be given a mop and told to clean it up.(end of)mind you could of waited till summer its a wee bit cold for chucking water at this time of year. LOL lol

Please tell your mom and/or dad before they find out from someone else.

They'll never kill you because they either love you or they respect the laws in this country. (I mean they will not do anything stupid as you were afraid!)

They might punish you at some level as you're not allowed to play games, watch TV for a week...But it's not a big issue and I'm sure your parents will forgive you soon.

Be strong and be honest!

Good luck!

Tell your mom. It will show that you're willing to take responsibility for your own actions. Trust me, no matter how angry she is, it's always best that she hear it from you first, not from the principal. You'll only look like you were tryng to lie if the principal tells her first.

its not that big of a deal. be honest with your parents. im not saying you have to tell them but if your teacher or principal tell them jus dont lie. an like papucho said it would be better for them to hear it coming from you than a teacher or principal.

Be honest with them. Then you won't have to worry that the principal will tell on you.

I'm a Mom and let me tell you the sure fire way to get my full wrath:

1 - Lie to me.

2 - Let me found out you lied to me from someone else!

Tell your parents the truth - apologize for your behavior, and assure them that it will never happen again!

Honesty is the best policy. You can tell her about it and maybe it won't be as bad you think. Or, you can wait until she asks you about it and tell her the truth. Either way works fine and you will still be guilt-free.

They'll be more upset with you if you don't tell them, and they have to hear it from someone else. Fess up, tell them exactly what happened, and admit you made a mistake. Then when, NOT if, they hear it from someone else, they'll be prepared, not blindsided.

The best thing to do is to be true to your parents. It's better that they find out from you than from anybody else.

Be honest to them and explain what happened and how you feel.

Good luck!
