Uh, insulting the people who give you your livelihood? NOT a wise policy.
If no one wanted pizza from your chain, you wouldn't have the job, would you?
Sometimes people are tired and simply want food brought to them; sometimes people specifically crave the pizza you make.
Not everyone has a car.
As for using the net, it's probably a good way to not get the order messed up (as sometimes happens -- we once got a large for the price of a medium, though, which was a lucky mess-up for us).
Plus you have a current menu, with all the prices, and know exactly what your total is before you actually order -- not true when one is at home calling in.
People who are hungry get cranky because of the hunger, and so complain when they have to wait. An hour and a half is a long time to be hungry -- and seems even longer to the hungry person.
But if you warned them, or the web warned them, of the time, they don't have the right to complain; they should have either canceled their order, or found something to snack on, or just bit it.
But the most important thing to remember is that people are paying for the pizza and service; they have that right, given the company offers pizza and service.
Should they be rude or unreasonable?
No.
But then, neither should you by writing rude things about the people who (indirectly) pay your salary.
I trust you aren't rude to them on the phone.
Yes, working with the public is a tough job, as there are a lot of rude and cranky people among them.
This is true for everyone who works with the public.
But not all customers are rude, right?
Most of the people wait for their pizza's without bugging you about it.
