It truly doesn't matter at all what so ever.

In weddings, men are normally on the right and women on the left. When seating people for the wedding it depends on whcih side they will be sitting. It's customary to walk them on the side they will be sitting, this we you don't have to cross each others paths to get to your seat.

Same holds try in public and in general. Truly doesn't matter which side my lady is on. I will offer my arm that is away from the road. This way I am between her and the road. This helps protect her from curb splash or someone doing a curb job as they park.

Man on the right, woman on the left. This goes back to medieval times when men carried swords. If a man had to draw his sword quickly he wouldn't want to chop off his bride's head.

For a picture, it doesn't matter. It's not a question of etiquette. But for walking down the aisle (which is the word I think you mean), a gentleman extends his right arm to a lady, so she is on his right.

The man is always on the right, therefore, the woman is on the left!

I've always seen the bride to the groom's left, but truly I don't think it would be wrong the other way.

no answer to the question, but:

It's A-I-S-L-E, people! An "isle" is an island; an aisle is a pathway. Please learn the difference.
